I'm new to this, I opened command promp, next to what originally pops up C: Users xxxx> I did not skp a space I continued to put in as seen here C: Users xxxx>C: Program Files MicrosoftOffice Office15 Then I hit enter, I tried the 64bit 1st then the 32bit I get both with error saying, is not recongnized as an internal or external command. Operable program or batch file, I even tried after the C: Users xxxx > separating the MicrosoftOffice Office15 to Microsoft Office Office15 still does not work. Any help please.

Hi, I'm not familiar with Office for Mac 2011, but based on my experience these years, I always suggest users remove the older version before installing the newer version of Office. Ideally, what you should do now is to remove Office 2016 -> Remove Office 2011 -> Install Office 2016. Whether Lync is from your Office 2011 it depends on your version, it seems only the volume license version of Office 2011 has the Lync feature.
