Send PowerPoint handouts to Word for printing. In PowerPoint 2003, 2007 and 2010 you can send PowerPoint Handouts to Word. You can use Send to Word to make thumbnails or your slides or to copy the speaker notes or blank lines to a processing document like Word. PPT 2007 & 2008-- Essentially the same, but the Notes text box has a property to shrink the text to autofit the box. This is the default behavior. This is the default behavior. Unfortunately, that can result in a reduction of font size to as small as 3 pt which renders the Notes unreadable for all practical purposes.
For version 2013, first open the PowerPoint presentation you wish to print. Add any additional speaker notes by scrolling through the slides and typing into the bottom text box. Click the 'View' tab at the top of the screen. But the outline view in Powerpoint 2010 provides a summarized version of your spreadsheet’s information, and printing an outline from Powerpoint 2010 can give you a condensed list of the slides and the information contained on them. I'm running powerpoint 2008 (v. 12.3) on my MacBook Pro. I am in school, and take a lot of notes on slide presentations in the notes box at bottom.

A Powerpoint 2010 presentation consists of slides and notes. The slides are visible to the audience while the presenter is giving their presentation, and the notes are meant to be a guideline for what should be talked about on that slide. Due to the different roles that these items play, it is conceivable that you would want to print the notes for your presentation without needing to print the slides as well.
